“Here I am.”
In the Torah, “Hineni” is a spoken commitment to Hashem—a willingness to respond before knowing what you'll be asked to do. It's a simple declaration of presence and readiness: Here I am!
At the center of this original hand-cut Jewish papercut is the Hebrew word הִנֵּנִי, nestled within a pomegranate. Vines, botanicals, and additional pomegranates surround it, while two hummingbirds hover at flowers in the upper corners.
The entire design is mirrored from left to right, giving the composition a sense of balance and symmetry while the intricate cut-paper details invite a closer look.
I created this piece in white paper against black, with every element carefully cut and finished by hand. The artwork is made with archival-quality, acid-free materials and comes framed in a black frame with a white mat.

Hineni makes a thoughtful way to honor someone who has answered a calling or made a meaningful difference in your life. It would be especially fitting for a teacher, rabbi, mentor, community leader, or someone beginning a new chapter.
It can also mark a retirement, ordination, graduation, new position, or personal milestone. Sometimes a simple “Here I am” says exactly what needs to be said.
Your artwork will be carefully packaged for safe arrival. Shipping charges cover shipping and packaging.
International orders: Shipping charges do not include customs duties, import taxes, or brokerage fees that may be assessed by the destination country. Any such charges are the responsibility of the recipient.
