Jewish Art With a Story to Tell

You have your own stories in your life.

Maybe they come from your grandmother's kitchen, a holiday table, a family joke, a wedding, summer camp, a book you read years ago, or a tradition you've carried with you without knowing where it came from.

My work gives those stories a place to live.

I'm a Jewish papercut artist based in Cary, North Carolina, creating hand-cut artwork inspired by Jewish history, folklore, ritual, and memory. Some pieces look back at people and stories that might otherwise be forgotten. Others take a familiar Jewish tradition and look at it from a different angle. Together, they reflect the many ways Jewish life has been remembered, practiced, questioned, celebrated, and passed down.

Art for the Jewish life you're living

Your home doesn't have to look like a synagogue or museum to have Jewish art in it.

A piece might mark something important in your family, bring a favorite story into your everyday surroundings, or simply make you smile when you walk past it. Whether you're looking for an original piece for your home, a meaningful gift, or artwork for a Jewish organization or community space, you can choose something that connects to the stories and traditions that matter to you.

You can explore my original artwork, prints, and commissions to find a piece that fits your space and your story.

I’m drawn to the places where history and legend overlap, and to the fragments of Jewish life that might otherwise be forgotten.

A ketubah that's part of your story

Your ketubah can be more than a document you sign and put away.

If you're planning a Jewish or interfaith wedding, your ketubah can become a work of art that reflects your relationship, your Jewish life, and the things that make the two of you who you are. I work with each couple to create a design that feels personal rather than pulled from a catalog.

After the wedding, your ketubah becomes part of your home and part of the history you're building together.

Made by hand, for real life

Every papercut starts as a drawing and is cut from paper by hand, using a combination of traditional hand-cutting and contemporary techniques. Some pieces also incorporate watercolor, cyanotype, paint, or other materials.

The result is artwork made to be lived with: something you can hang in your home, give to someone you love, bring into a Jewish community space, or pass along to the next generation.

I make the art. You bring the story that gives it meaning.
